AIM:

To be shown how to cut a classic bob and horizontal graduation and actively have a go.

OBJECTIVE:

  • To understand the basic principles of cutting a classic bob and horizontal graduation
  • Learning the correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of foundation cutting with the use of a mannequin head. The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

LEVEL:

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. If you are beginning in hairdressing the candidate would gain the practise to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two. Those needing to be competent in the observations of (H6) cutting would gain the knowledge to complete the area of one length and graduation.

This course would be linked to the NVQ level 2 and would be essential in those beginning in hairdressing and establishing themselves in the commercial field of haircutting. You need to know these skills to be able to complete NVQ level 2, and also to attend the further educational courses run by the RRA.

AIM:

To be given the basic knowledge of colour analysis and be shown the simple commercial skill of spatula colouring and actively have a go.

  • To understand the basic principles of colour analysis and learn the simple skill of spatula colouring
  • Learning the knowledge of colouring analysis and correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

  • Learning the correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of the basic skills of working with long hair with the use of a mannequin head. The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

LEVEL:

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. If you are beginning in hairdressing the candidate would gain the practise to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two. Those needing to be competent in the observations of (H10) dress long hair would gain the knowledge to complete the area of a vertical roll.

To be shown how to cut vertical graduation and vertical short layering, and actively improve and build on classical commercial cutting techniques.

OBJECTIVE:

  • To understand the principles of cutting a vertical graduation and vertical short layering.
  • Learning the correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of commercial cutting with the use of a mannequin head. The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. Those working towards completing Level 2 would gain the practise to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two. To be shown how to cut an A-line forward graduation and long graduating layers, and actively improve and build on classical commercial cutting techniques.

OBJECTIVE:

  • To understand the principles of cutting a forward graduation and long graduating layers
  • Learning the correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of commercial cutting with the use of a mannequin head. The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

LEVEL:

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. Those working towards completing Level 2 would gain the practice to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two. Those needing to be competent in the observations of (H6) cutting would gain the knowledge to complete the area of forward graduation and long graduating layering.   • It is essential that you have the understanding of colour analysis to gain the most from this course
  • Those who wish to refresh their knowledge of colour choice, combinations and their application

AIM:

To be shown how the importance of consultation and choice of colour combinations and their application using Streaker meche can actively improve and build on commercial colour techniques and actively have a go.

OBJECTIVE:

  • To understand the principles of colour choice and their combinations creating commercial effective results
  • Learning the correct use of colours, Streaker meche, tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of creative and commercial colouring with the use of a mannequin head or own model. (If own model used then a SKIN TEST must be carried out 48 hours prior to colouring). The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

LEVEL:

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. Those working towards completing Level 2 would gain the practise to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two. Those needing to be competent in the observations of (G7, H13) colouring would gain the knowledge to complete the area of combination colouring and woven highlights. To gain the maximum benefit from this course it is essential to have the skill of colour analysis as covered in the foundation courses run by the RRA.

AIM:

To be shown how to incorporate a combination of skills and creativeness of dressing long hair. To actively improve and build on classical commercial long hair techniques.

OBJECTIVE:

  • To understand the principles of working creatively with long hair
  • Learning the correct use of tools and their application to achieve the desired results

FORMAT:

Under the expert guidance and tuition of a Rand Rocket Academy Educator the delegates will have hands on experience of creative commercial long hair with the use of a mannequin head or model. The day is to split into two sessions, morning and afternoon, giving personal tuition in a classroom set up.

LEVEL:

This course will be linked to NVQ/SVQ. Those working towards completing Level 2 would gain the practise to work towards a successful assessment in their NVQ/SVQ level two and elements to build on NVQ/SVQ level three. Those needing to be competent in the observations of (H10) level two and (H26) level three, would gain the knowledge to complete the area of style and dress creative long hair. To gain the maximum benefit from this course it is essential to have the skill of foundation long hair courses as covered in the foundation courses run by the RRA, or have some experience of working with long hair in the salon.
